Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how MJL Advisors, Inc (“we”, “us”, “Longpoint”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Longpoint product, website, or any related service. By using Longpoint, you agree to the practices described here. This Policy applies to visitors and account holders worldwide. Effective date: 2026-05-08.
Who we are
The data controller is MJL Advisors, Inc (EIN 46-0681840), 2332 Alaqua Drive, Longwood, Florida 32779, USA. You can reach our Data Protection Officer at support@longpoiint.com or +1 202 960 2109. We operate the website longpoiint.com.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the product. Account data: name, email address, profile image, account identifier from our authentication provider. Billing data: country of residence, billing address, last four of the payment card, tax id where applicable; full payment instruments are held by Stripe and never reach our servers. Product data: the prompts you submit, the trajectories you generate, the reels you trace, the projects you save. Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, device type, locale, and request timestamps. Communications: any email, support ticket, or feedback you send us.
We do not collect special category data (health, religious belief, sexual orientation, biometric identifiers) and we do not require it. If you choose to write any sensitive information into a prompt, you do so voluntarily and we treat that prompt as ordinary product content under this Policy.
Legal bases (GDPR Article 6)
We rely on the following legal bases. Contract: to provide the service you signed up for, including authentication, generation, billing, and customer support. Legitimate interests: to keep the service safe, prevent fraud, debug, and improve product quality, weighed against your rights and freedoms. Consent: to send marketing email, to enable optional analytics, and to use cookies that are not strictly necessary; you may withdraw consent at any time. Legal obligation: to retain billing records, to respond to lawful requests, and to comply with tax and accounting law.
Why we use your data
We use the data we collect to authenticate you, run the workspace, generate the visualizations and reels you request, charge you, send transactional email (receipts, renewal reminders, security notices), reply to support requests, detect abuse and fraud, and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your prompts to train third-party foundation models without your explicit opt-in, and we do not share content with advertisers.
Sharing with processors
We share personal data with vetted processors strictly to operate the service: Clerk (authentication), Neon (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), our cloud platform for compute and storage, our generative AI providers for inference on your prompt, our email provider for transactional mail, and our error-tracking provider. Each processor is bound by a written data-processing agreement and operates only on documented instructions. A current list is available on request.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where required by law we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or your explicit consent. We apply organizational and technical safeguards regardless of where the data sits.
Retention
Account data is retained for as long as you have an active account, plus 30 days after closure for grace recovery. Generated artefacts (charts, reels, projects) are retained for 90 days by default; you can change this in Privacy Settings or delete artefacts at any time. Billing and tax records are retained for the period required by U.S. and state law (typically seven years). Audit logs of administrative access are retained for two years. Closed-account audit shadows are retained for seven years for fraud and dispute defense.
Your rights
Subject to local law you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, port it to another provider, withdraw any consent you previously gave, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland have the rights described in the GDPR. California residents have the rights described in the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising), and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. Brazilian residents have the rights described in the LGPD. Send any request to support@longpoiint.com from the email associated with your account; we respond within 30 days, extendable by another 60 days where the law allows.
Cooling-off period
If you are an EU or UK consumer making your first purchase, you have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. Because each generation is digital content delivered immediately, the right of withdrawal is forfeited as soon as generation begins, and at Checkout we ask you to acknowledge that point with a separate checkbox. See our Refund Policy for the operational details.
Cookies
We use a small set of strictly necessary cookies (session, anti-CSRF). Preferences and analytics cookies are off by default and only set if you opt in. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control headers. See the Cookie Policy for the full list.
Children
Longpoint is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect personal data with encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), enforce least-privilege access for staff, log every administrative action, and run regular vulnerability scans. No system is perfect; if you discover a vulnerability please disclose it responsibly to support@longpoiint.com.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and on this page. The latest version always governs.
